Open/Launch ocument to specific bookmark

Hi,Is it possible to open/launch a word or .pdf document to a specific bookmark within the document. We have a large insurance policy form that is referenced throughout a course and rather than opening it to the first page we'd like to have it open to the specific section (bookmark) in the document that is being referenced in the course.Thx!!
