Not Scoring Quiz Results Included in Overall Score

I have a course where the results of the first quiz determine the path for the rest of the course. It is 6 questions, all true-false. Any true answers take the participant to the Section - High content and 3 quiz sections. All false answers take the participant to the Section - Low content and 1 quiz section.

Even though I have the first quiz marked as not scoring, it seems like it is included in the overall score of the course. Example: Initial quiz = 1 yes answer; Section 3 Quiz Score = 88; Section 4 Quiz Score = 88; Section 5 Quiz Score = 100; Overall score = 69.

How can I get the initial quiz removed from the overall?

For that one I was able to add a Modify Variable to get a score of 100%. There is only one question and it's just an acknowledgement that the course was reviewed.

So I just checked the published code for a test title I've built as well the test score variable is still available. You can do the same as for the Knowledge Check Test, just set the Variable to 100 when entering the other sections.

As the test is part of the AU, we just need to make sure the 'Include test score in overall score' is checked off in the Test Results Tab.

See my attachment the check mark for this option is still on even though the test is non graded. Just to be safe check the 'Grade the test' option on so that you are able to turn off 'Include test score in overall score' then turn off 'Grade the test'.

What about the Knowledge Check Test?

If that one has ‘Include test score in overall score' on it will be affecting the Overall Score as well even if it has not been graded yet.

Hi Johnattan,

Thank you for your response. I tried your fix and it didn't work.

Any other thoughts?
