Need help removing an .exe file

When I began working on my current project, I set up an action to run an executable file on click. Since then, I have decided not to have that application connected to my current project. I am trying to remove the executable file from my project. I have deleted the action that ran the program, but it will not let me remove the executable file in Resource Manager.
