My .FLV file won't play when publishing as executable...HELP

I've seen a few posts regarding this, but none really solved my problem. I have a course with several .flv files embedded (I'm using the lectora controller skin). They work fine when publishing to HTML, SCORM but when publishing to single file executable it's just a blank page, almost as if it's not recognizing the .flv. I tried adding the .flv files to the "Additional Files" tab on the course level but to no avail. Any suggestions? This is frustrating the daylights out of me. Somehting that should have taken 10 minutes has no taken 2 days. Arrgggg.
