Multiple Emailing of Registration Page ever time course is opened

Thanks Ben...I hate those words..."add code"....not my thing at all, but I shall give it a try. This is probably a stupid question, but if this course is hosted on an intranet and I include that "retain variable" function, once the first person registers, won't that retained variable be retained for other users?
RoxanneE said:I've published several courses in HTML that one of my clients hosts on their company intranet. I get paid for every person that takes the course, so I've included a Registration Page at the beginning that the user must complete before continuing. I also get emailed a copy of the Quiz results. (BTW, Ben, if you're reading this...this is the same client I talked to you about...we actually got the email function working...Yeah!) The problem is this...I think the students are being forced to complete the registration page every time they open the course, so I receive multiple registration notices for each student, unless the complete the course in one sitting. If the student fails the quiz, he/she or she can reattempt it, but that means opening hte course again, which means another registration email....you get the picture. Any ideas on how to get around this? I was wondering about the Bookmarking feature, but it doesn't work in HTML, or does it?
