Lesson_Status.

Has anything changed in Lectora 2005 for SCORM variables for Lesson_Status?We had logic in previous (2004) lessons of Lectora that would query the AICC_Lesson_Status variable upon show of a page and redirect the user based on this variable. Now titles published using 2005 is not working as expected. I see a CMI_Completion_Status variable-- has this taken over what was previously AICC_Lesson_Status?Please advise...Thanks,John Boloian

CMI_Completion_Status is a new variable added specifically for SCORM 2004. The AICC_Lesson_Status variable has not changed and should still be used to set the status if using SCORM 1.2 or lower. More information about the variables can be found in the online help file:CMI_Completion_Status *:This variable is only accessible in a SCORM 2004 course and determines the point at which the student has actually completed viewing the course materials. In a SCORM 2004 published course, the author MUST set this variable at the point in the course that the student has been determined to have completed viewing the necessary content for the course.

John,If you take out the condition so that it performs the action regardless of the Lesson_Status, does it work then? Are you recieving any warnings/errors when publishing that might be related?

Thanks Aaron. We are trying to troubleshoot a logic problem that seems to have arisen since publishing out using Lectora 2005.In our Lectora 2004 title (published to SCORM, and I have verified this still works on our Saba 3.5 system), we have logic that sends the user to one page if AICC_Lesson_Status = "passed" (this is the 1st action on the page). The 2nd action (both are onshow) directs to the beginning of a test. For some reason, this does not seem to be working in the 2005-published titles, even though the logic hasn't changed, and I have verified that the AICC_Lesson_Status = "passed" in my testing scenario.Any ideas? Is there a difference in how 2005 is handling the sequence of onshow actions? Thanks,John B
