No direct ideas w/o being there. But try these.1. You are right, the "Cannot find file" error is the killer. Start out slow. Create a small text file called "abc" using Notepad or a Word doc. Store directly in the main top level C directory. Then its addr. should be C:/abc.txt or C:/abc.doc. Now, can you open that? Always always start as simple as possible and work up.2. Copying the path name directly from the doc properties window probably will not work because it uses back slashes.3. A jpg? When you double click it, what does it open with? That is kind of dangerous because people use different software to open jpgs. Some use the browser, some use an editor, mine open with Fireworks. Is that what you are intending?
