Is there a way to stop transitions when listening to an audio file?

I am pretty new to Lectora and I can't seem to find or get an answer or solution to this issue. In an attempt to make boring content more appealing we insert images with transitions along with text and audio. Our users want to be able to pause an audio file if they are interrupted while taking a course and have the transitions and action pause also. What happens is they get interrupted and pause the audio file but all the other things continue. When they return to the audio sometimes things have tranistioned in or out and they are not getting the benefit of all that appears on the screen. Any ideas or is it even possible to pause audio and pause transitions at the same time, then resume audio along with the transitions? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
