Is my page size causing 100% cpu usage

I have just started using Lectora to start to create a medical test. I have increased the page dimensions to Width 1000 and Height 2220. This is because each test section has a number of questions that need to be shown. Question pages need to scroll down so that all questions can be seen.

Since I have done this Lectora has become very slow and is lagging, which makes it hard to perform any task.

Does anyone know the reasons for this? Is there anyway to sort this problem? Can a text box be created which can scroll down by its self, without having to scroll the whole page down?
