Insert test in a section/chapter

I need some clarification on AICC test scoring and chapter quizzes. Am I correct in understanding that if I put questions at the of a section or chapter, I can grade and show the results without the results being considered a Test for AICC purposes? If so, this means I could have an end of section review quizz in addition to a final "test," the results of which would be sent to the LMS.
