Importing RTF's into Lectora
February 16, 2012 12:00 AM
Hey there,
bit of background info:
our team that uses lectora and other software to build courses.
We work seperately to another team that write the courses.
For us, implementing RTF's would be a major time saver.
Question:
There is a 2 pixel bevelled border that sits around the edge of wherever you put the rtf in, I'm suspecting it might not be easy to get rid of. Can we get rid of it?
What I've tried:
I've tried cracking open the CSS that is produced by implementing a rtf upon publishing to HTML (next to the html file it produces with a seemingly random number like "2534534.html" for example).
I haven't had any luck in adding "border: 0px" to the css etc, I also tried amending multiple css files but to no avail.
I realise that, if this is possible, theoretically, every time the course is published it will overwrite our changes, but hopefully with use of DNGrep we can make this somewhat managable, assuming it is possible.
The other alternative I was hoping to avoid would be adding a white border around the edge by creating a white png in photoshop that's see through in the middle, that is 'always on top' of the white border. I figure this might also be a little unmanagable in terms of different sized text boxes etc.
Anyway, thanks in advance, hope I've atleast made some sense, sorry in if i haven't provided enough info, i'll check this soon to reply incase i have not.
