Importing pages from an existing title

That's normal behavior in Lectora. Keep in mind, though, that the visibility checkboxes only determine what you see in "authoring mode" -- they have nothing to do with what the user will see. So, while it's a pain to have to turn some of them back off, if you miss one here or there, it won't affect the end product.
