Importing 80 Multiple Choice Questions.

Hi,I read a post that said it is possible to import a bank of questions using Lectora 2004 and import XML.I was wondering if anyone had tried this before and can offer any suggestions for a proces that might work. Or sample files.I have been looking at the output with XML spy. First of all there is a validation error-- but that might be ok.The only method I can see that looks easy is to create a test with 80 MC questions. Then go into the XML and paste in the questions intoOBJQUESTION.I am thinking that this will not keep any formatting that lectora does when you use the question wizard.Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.Simon

If using the professional publishing suite, you could save the questions in QTI XML format and then import them into Lectora using the file/import QTI option. Lectora 2005 will have have a new option to import questions from a CSV text file.If using the professional publishing suite, you could save the questions in QTI XML format and then import them into Lectora using the file/import QTI option. Hello SimonI had similar problem. I had 80 Question in Excel that i wanted to put inside publisherThe trick that I did: first I created one question with texts that I could recognize (Questiontext, Ans1, Ans2, ans3, ans4), then I copied that 80 times and exported to xml. Next I saved the excel Questions to Tab delimited text file and created a program with Director that takes the questions from Tabbed text file and inserts them to correct places in xml. Finally i imported the xml back to Publisher. Voila!Hope it helps
