Importance of Flash in courses?

I agree with Ludo.. Flash has the benefit of making things a little fancier, but when it comes down to it.. you are just making a slightly prettier (more movements, etc) page.We have used Flash for drag-and-drop questions, "growing tree questions" where when the student answers the question correctly an animation is played (once again.. just fancier way of saying "good job").Another program we have used is Captivate. This one allows us to quickly create scenario based questions with screen shots from the actual programs used day to day. With a little work you can incorporate these things into eLearning tests and save the scores. This style has been popular with the students (although still new in our company)
