Image turns black when published

We have several .jpg images in our project that publish fine. We have other .jpg images that are blacked out when published to HTML.We tried manipulating the properties in multiple ways but the .jpgs are still blacked out.Does anyone have any suggestions that might alleviate this problem?Thank you ahead of time.
