Flex generated Flash not displaying on Lectora page

For several years I have been embedding Captivate .swf, Raptivity, and Flash from multiple sources into my Lectora courses without issue.
For whatever reason, I have one application that renders Flash from Flex.
The Flash plays fine in straight HTML pages.
For whatever reason, it will not play on my Lectora page.
This is the same Lectora page that I am easily able to play Captivate generated Flash.
I first tried it as a single Flash file.
I then tried it as a Flash file and xml file (as Lectora X has a provision for attaching an associated xml file with an animation).
Could not get it to work although the Flash works fine when using Dreamweaver to embed in straight HTML, or even when right mouse clicking on the file and opening with IE.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
