How do you make my Lectora course IE8 compatible?

Hi,
End-users in some regions are having serious issues running our Lectora developed courses using IE8. Some are having issues with certain quiz questions while others cannot even launch the course properly (they just get a blank screen).
I heard that some external providers simply adjusted their courses so that their courses worked properly on our LMS. Does anyone know how I can do this?
This is a major problem for us so any ideas are welcome.
