Hot spot question can';t be clicked

I have a course with a hot spot question, showing an image with five hot spots. It works great in all Lectora modes, including preview in browser. When uploaded to our LMS (Cornerstone), clicking the hot spots has no effect if the course compatibility is set to IE10 (the highest level available) or IE9. If I set the compatibility down to IE8 or IE7, the question works -- but users get a pop-up when launching the course saying some features may not work in older browsers and recommending they update.

The course was developed in Lectora 17.0.5 with Seamless Play off. We use IE11.

Any ideas on how to make the question work at IE10 compatibility?

Update: My course works fine on scorm.cloud.com, but the attached very simple example fails in Cornerstone with the compatibility set to IE9 or 10 and works with the compatibility set to IE7 or 8.

(Click the bulls-eye. If it works, you'll get a pop-up message saying, "You clicked 2.")

Seamless play might've been on in the sample, I confess I didn't pay attention. And to be clear, it's not an IE problem, it's a Cornerstone problem: Both my course and the sample work on SCORM Cloud in IE11. The sample file is attached in case anybody who also uses Cornerstone has a chance to play with it.

If you provide the sample awt I'll see if I can get it working in ie9.

if you open a001_test_1_page_1.html, it'll work in ie9. It sure looks like seamless play is on, there are nested frames..

Right, gotcha. The reason I mentioned IE9, as you did, is because I tested it in IE9 without an LMS (which alone could cause issues when published for an LMS) and it didn't work. I asked for the awt because I wanted to test it in IE9 when published without seamless play and for web, not LMS. Hopefully you find someone who is currently using cornerstone and willing to lend a hand.
