General Tips and Practices for Creating Animations

Just looking for the best way to approach creating animation to Lectora. Any thoughts, ideas, and practice would be greatly appreciated.

Use transitions if simple. Otherwise use Flypaper. If that does not do it, create in Flash and use the swf.
Use Adobe Edge Animate instead of Flash for HTML5 output. Also, it's free.
