Formating Text in a Change Content Action

Hello-I am hoping that someone can tell me how to format the text in a change content action. I have the content changing in a text block and once it is in the block, I would like the font to be smaller and the items lined up in an ordered list. Can I format this content? I tried re-formatting the text block itself but that doesn't seem to effect the content that is coming in. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
