Formating Text in a Change Content Action

I find that, for the formatting in the text block to take effect, there needs to be text in it while you're formatting it (another words, formatting an empty text block doesn't seem to work). So, what I do is to have some properly formatted "garbage" text (usually "asdf") as the contents in the text box. Then, at the page level, I have two actions. The first action sets to nothing (i.e., leave the Value field blank) the variable I'm going to use later to pass the "real" contents into that text box. The second action is an OnShow action that changes the contents of the text box to that variable. These two actions clear out the text box before the user sees it, so it appears empty, but it allows the text box to retain the text formatting for when the "real" text pops in.I don't know if all this is still necessary in Lectora 2008...I started doing it a while ago and I usually just copy stuff like this from my old e-courses to my new ones, so I haven't bothered to check if anything's changed.Hope this helps!Laura
