Thank you very much for your reply.I looked and the Play Continuously option is unchecked on the flv video. And, as you mentioned, that option is not available for the swf file. I agree that I could work around this by having a hidden image, but this is the first of many avi's I'll be trying to down-size on this particular title. I'm hoping to find a less labor intensive solution that I can apply to all of them. Or, to find out how to properly encode them if I'm causing the problem myself.I've tried encoding/converting them with Flash, Sorenson, etc. thinking it must be in the conversion. But, the swf appears with the first frame visible, plays, and ends with the last frame visible in external players...no looping, no rewinding. That's what has me stumped...
