Flash and Lectora - Troubleshooting

Hi, I've been trying to use the flash test example posted on this forum to update a lectora variable with flash.However, when I try to run the example - my browser shuts down and I hear the Windows error "ding". I am running IE 6, Lectora 2005 and I do have Norton Internet Security running.I suspect that something is blocking the javascript from communicating. The other example that I found on this forum does the same thing (Lectora_var_Flash). Am I missing something?Thanks for any help you can give me!
