Fill in the Blank Questions.

Our instructional designers have created some questions that require the user to fill in multiple responses for one question. For example:Write the corresponding abbreviation for the cloud coverage full name on the left. Overcast --- Few   --- Broken --- Scattered --- Clear --- To create these, I have been putting multiple 'Fill in the Blank' style questions on one page. The issue is that Lectora treats all of these as individual questions rather than one.Is there a way to have multiple fill in the blanks for one question like I have shown above, and have it apply a single score to it?Thanks Edited By: girlgeek on 38322.4245138889

Unfortunitly each fill-in has to be its own seperate question. In Lectora 2005, weighted question functionality has been added which can be used to make each question worth 1/5th point instead of a full point each.Unfortunitly each fill-in has to be its own seperate question. Just about cracked this now - I've setup a variable which notes if duplicate answers were entered in any of the 3 blank fields we have. This prevents the next button moving them on. Next challenge is that the blanks still contain the original answer, I've tried a reset button to change the Question_000x variables back to blank which doesn't work. When simply overtyping the originals, somewhere the original answers are being remembered as the 3 questions are marked wrong even after they have been changed. All help appreciated!

Do not use the wizard feedback. Simply have one action that checks all 5 question variables for correct. If they are not all correct, then show a hidden text box with the desired feedback.Do not use the wizard feedback. Simply have one action that checks all 5 question variables for correct. I've got as far as getting 3 fill the gap questions on one page - the problem I have is that the answer bank for each is the same and this leaves a possibility that a student can put the same correct answer in all three and get 100%. I'm convinced there must be a solution using variables - although the number of actions needed to ensure this works looks like a pain to do - anyone been succesful in this?So far, I've got a new variable which changes following a check that the answers are not duplicated.

In relation to using multiple "fill in the blanks" on one page, is it possible to to have one question feedback for the group of "fill in the blanks"? eg:I have a paragraph with 5 fill in the blanks. I would like to set up feedback for the user which says something along the lines of you got 3 out 5 "fill in the blanks right"All sugestions/workarounds are welcome!!!
