Events Not Triggered in HTML

I have a rather large slide in a course that has about 20 seperate audio clips that narrate portions of an image on the slide. The narrated clips follow a specific sequence on the image and reveal text boxes at specific times. Through a series of actions and action groups I have created an environment where the student can stop the narration at any given time, repeat a narrated clip of their choice and then have the master timer go back to where it left off at and complete the sequence. The slide works without any errors in both run mode and preview.

All of the audio clips were created in audacity, exported as MP3's and brought into lectora. Because I am triggering all of my action groups from events within the audio clips, I converted each MP3 to an flv file. Compression was set very low to try and maintain quality.

Here is the problem.... I published the course to HTML. The slide does't work at all. I have discovered that none of the events within the audio clips get triggered, thus no action groups do anything. If I remove the event trigger from within the audio clip and set it up as an action on the clip previous to it (when done playing .....run action group #) and then set a delay time to account for the audio to play to that point, everything works fine.

I am baffled. There must be a difference between how the player identifies and initiates actions/events in run/preview vice publish. Does anyone have any ideas??
