Error Writing Compressed resource.

I am trying to publish to a single file executable but get an error message when Lectora (2003) tries to compress the media within the title. The error message is "error writing compressed resource to single file image". The media is a 430MB mpg file. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? I can publish to CDRom without error but would prefer not to. If I have to break the mpg file into smaller files, any idea on maximum allowable file size?thanks -

I suggest publishing to CD instead in order to keep all of the resources seperate and uncompressed. There was memory allocation problem in the builder that would cause large files such as this one to not compress - this was fixed in Lectora 2005. The single file publish was never designed to handle large files such as this.Using a single file publish for this title would be extreemly slow when running and would require at least 430MB of free space on the end user's machine. All videos must be extracted out of the single file into the Windows temporary folder before it can play them. The user will have to wait until the extraction is complete before the video will start to play. By publishing to CD, there will not be a wait time for since it is already extracted.
