It's not so much that someone has done this, just a precautionary measure and a question someone asked in a meeting of whether we can prevent someone from recording something they viewed and sharing without paying for additional learners. They may feel it is similar to companies sending one person to a training session and then that person goes back and trains everyone else at the company. This is fine, but in an online world, it makes it much easier to cross the line. So why have the liability and temptation out there if it can be controlled and no one gets hurt feelings or becomes embarassed. I'd like to think that the majority of the world is honest and believe in the honor system. I believe that personal growth and achievement is only if the person puts their time and effort into learning and not looking for the easy way out.Sometimes, people feel that if they do not pass something that their job might be in jeopardy, even when its not. As humans, we can't be perfect all the time, but we do our best to always be the best we can and follow our beliefs and values. The posting was an innocent question meant to offer feedback to the powers-that-be when they express concern. Especially when dealing with employees that will be required to successfully pass certain courses and obtain certifications. People want the confidence that there are no flaws in the system. If no one ever cheated, schools would not need to have Plagiarism and Cheating policies. Thanks for listening and sorry that the postings were taken as a harsh assumption toward an organization for others to assume there is an organization that you wouldn't want to do business with. That was not the intent.
