CSS, external HTML pages

Ok, so here is my scenario. I have an Instructional Designer that has already created an entire course made up of 8 separate modules which take a total of 8 hours to complete all 8 together from scratch in Dreamweaver using CSS, javascript, etc. He has pages where on click, the white content area expands to show a video or more information (all done in code).
Now, that we have purchased Lectora for all four IDs, we want to make this project Lectora modules. As for the auto expanding pages, I wasn't sure how that would work in Lectora, since each page has a set dimension... wondered about default transparent backgrounds or white and then use CSS to override the code... but this takes deeper thought and knowledge than what I have to think it through.
After watching the CSS workshop, I started wondering if there was a way to create some type of basic, blank shell and have each page of the module actually accessed by using the add an external HTML page or something. I would want to put navigation at the top of each page controlled by Lectora so I can maintain some timings I need to control.
Any ideas, other than just rebuilding the entire thing from scratch and using a lot of copy and paste?
