Creating content for an iPad with a LMS

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any good resources for ramping up quickly for iPad/tablets, such as books, websites, etc?
I'm seasoned with creating SCORM packages for our Saba LMS, but when it comes to iPads, thats a whole new ballgame...
In Lectora X, it seems like there is nothing different for publishing for iPad vs regular WBTs other than the actual landscape size, is that correct? How about publishing to HTML5? I was on a trial version of Lectora X and now it expired...
