Ok, yes, much more sense. The "Index Name" field is the name you assign to the object. It could be e "TOC", "Course Map", or anything you want. But now I see what you are referring to.My guess is that you have the table of contents at the chapter or title level instead of the page level. You have two choices. 1. Remove the TOC from the title level and place it only on the pages you want.2. Leave it at the title level and exclude it from being inherited on all pages you don't want it. If you are just starting to develop a course, you can do this by creating the first low level page and then copying it. Otherwise you have a lot to change in the way of inheritance. Also, The TOC at the title level must be for the entire title. It cannot be for just the chapter or section. I construct my courses this way so that the inheritance is easire.ChapterPage (with toc highlighting (automatically) this chapter)Section (exclude the TOC.
