Contents View in Edit Mode

Thanks Ben,Yes, I am talking about the Table of Contents object. It was called "Contents View" in the Index name (in the properties box)The Table of Contents is being added to the course Title before the course has been developed. I am building a course design template and have created a formatted Table of Contents page as part of the template. What happens is that the Table of contents object appears in the front of every page in every chapter, which makes it really difficult to add content to the pages with this Object in front. The Object is movable within the page i.e. you can click on it and drag it anywhere within the page only. is there ayway of hiding this object whilst the content pages are being developed?Hope this makes a little more sense??
