Captivate and JavaScrip

Hello kelechim.I know exactly what you are talking about. I have found that sometimes the javascript entered in Captivate will work in IE but not in Firefox and visa versa. Here are some things to try.A:You could insert the swf animation into its own page in Lectora where it would play when accessed and when it is finished the user would simply click on the navigation button within Lectora to move to next page.B:If you wanted it to play by itself as a popup, then do the following:Try trivNextPage()Do not add ";" at the end.You would add this to a button with these options. On success: Execute JavascriptJavascript: trivNextPage()Leave the destination window as Current and check "Continue playing project". You will have to publish and test on a web server from IE/Firefox browser to see it work. As long as you have copied over all the required Captivate files (skin, swf, standard.js, metadata, etc) and pointed Lectora to the swf file it will work. Also make sure under Title Properties in the tab "Additional files" you have added all of the above files.C:Remember in Captivate under Project>Preferences, (project Preferences dialog box opens) you have "Project end options" where you can indicate for the Action: Close project. This means when the last slide has reached the end of its timeline, the project will close. You can also check the box for "Fade out on the last slide".Try one of these and see which one is acceptable.
