Capabilities Questions

You all have been a tremendous help in helping me figure out what Lectora is capable of in a very short amount of time. I appreciate your answers! We are trying to choose between Lectora and another authoring tool (which I am doing my best to avoid because it seems like a dinosaur, keeps crashing, isn't intuitive, etc.)Can anyone tell me:1. Is it possible to make the layouts a little more restricted - i.e. lock elements so page builders can't move them around. 2. Is it possible to have a question as part of the layout. I tried to create my own layout after adding a question to it and it didn't keep the question element. Our designers like the drag and drop of page types with this other tool... I know it's simple to copy/paste a question from another page and modify variables... but is it possible to have the question as part of the layout?3. Can images automatically be assigned as the standard for buttons like the 'done' button? I know you can change it on an image-by-image basis, but can it be set to automatically default to a different image?I personally love the flexibility of Lectora. It makes page building so quick and easy. But others are concerned that there is too much flexibility and the potential for modifying templates or deleting inherited elements scares them. I love the fact that you can edit the styles from within the program (instead of through external files). Others worry that designers will modify those styles by accident (or on purpose, ignoring the standards set).Is there a way to limit some of that flexibility once we've set up the layouts and styles for a course? (I suppose we could export the styles and reapply them at the end... but it would be nice to lock editing or something.)Thanks again for all your answers. You've made some of this fact-finding so much easier.Sherry
