Is there a more efficient way to number questions with correct alignment?

Right now when I create a question I do the following:

Double click the text/ right click in the text/ select Paragraph/ select Numbers List/ then right click again in the text box/ select Paragraph/ select Numbering Option and then specify.

Please help if there is a faster way to acheive this! This way is too time consuming.
