Let me try to re phrase. When I create a question and I want them numbered. I create question 1 with applying the number button, then I create a second question with appyly the number button. What I am trying to accomplish is linking the two text boxes or questions so that my numbers are in order as 1, 2, 3, and not 1, 1, 1. Did I explain better or did I make it more confusing?
