bug in L2008, link creation

This bug not only seems to occur when selecting 2 lines. I'm experiencing this problem when I select 2 words to make one hyperlink. After adding the hyperlink, only 1 word is actually a hyperlink.The work around would mean a whole lot more of extra work. This should function (it did in 2007).
