PNG is also a lossless compression, which is one reason why I like it so much.Sometimes it can result in a larger file size but not always. In many cases, the PNG is more efficient than GIF or JPG. And where the PNG is larger, it is usually not that big of a difference.Since all our internal users use IE, I use PNG fearlessly. Unfortunately, we are stuck in IE6, which means I cannot make use of the alpha channel of PNG (at least without some extra effort). I look forward to the day we crank up a version so that I can actually use PNGs to their full potential. Kevin
