Backslash Causes Problem in Quiz
November 9, 2016 12:00 AM
Hi,
Using Lectora 16, when I create a quiz and try to use a backslash in an answer (example answer selection: net use x \\FileSVR07\DATA$), it will not work. The answer selection will report as "Incorrect" even though it is chosen as the correct answer. Is there anyway to get backslashes to work in the quiz?
Thanks,
Alan

Replace the answer options with "a", "b". "c" and set them to "initially hidden" so they don't show up. Add normal textboxes next to the radio buttons instead. Normal textboxes don't have any problems with backslashes.
Sergey and Tim, that worked like a charm. Making the answer selections "Initially Hidden" is sheer genius!
Thanks!!!
Alan
A way to get around it could be to change the answers of your question to something like a, b, c and place normal textfields with a suitable background color over the real answers.
