background expands beyond page size

For my course backgound I use a solid color graphic that is 7 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall. Somehow Lectora repeats this graphic to make a background. I have my page size at 700 x 600. When I preview in Lectora I get a nice window with my background stopping at the 700 x 600 edge. When published in HTML the user sees a background that is the entire screen width instead of the page size width.
