Auto Page turning

Interesting notion. I'm sure it could done with JavaScript, but I do not really have the knowledge to make that suggestion.

Now, within the confines of just the Lectora software, I would try something like this:

Create your control panel, but give limited choices. Say you have Very Slow, Slow, Normal, Fast, and Very Fast. When a button is pressed then you modify a variable. Let's call that variable varSpeed and assign it to 1 through 5, depending on what the learner clicks.

On each page, assign five Actions. The first action is Very Slow Turn. It goes to the Next Page in 10 seconds IF varSpeed = 1. The next action is Slow Turn. It goes to the Next Page in 8 seconds IF varSpeed=2. And so forth.

It's a very clunky system, and I wouldn't try to build it unless I received extreme pressure from on up high to build it. In general, page turners are viewed very poorly from an educational standpoint, but if you have to have one, I prefer one where the learner has control over the material he is absorbing. I would choose a Next button (or PageDown or spacebar) to advance to the next page. I don't know what your material is, so maybe an automatic page turner is the ideal setup, but I personally think it should be avoided where possible.
