Audio/Video Editors - Problem in Lectora X.4 when adding events - corrected in X.6

Hi All,
My group had some problems when invoking the audio/video editors in X.4. For consistency, we always used the video editor/Add Events option to add events to any FLV files (audio, or video).
When upgrading to X.6, the discrepancy was fixed. Instead of the video editor defaulting for audio edits when adding events, now an FLV audio file consistently opens using audio editor, while FLV video file consistently opens in video editor.
Here's some background information:
Hotline response from Trivantis:
Paul,
The 'Add Events' option was a new feature for the X.4 update that did always open the video editor for FLV files. I was under the impression you were using the 'Edit' option as that is what looks for the editors in the preferences. The issue with the 'Add Events' option has been corrected so it always reverts to the appropriate object type for which it was added to the title. FLV files are the only file type that is interchangeable between the two editors and that is because they have the same file extension. You cannot open other video file types like MPG or WMV in the audio editor and vice versa. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
Here’s interpretation of what Trivantis Support said.
The 'Add Events' option was a new feature for the X.4 update that did always open the video editor for FLV files. (Which was a bug) However, if you opened the file using the right click audio controller/Edit option, it would open with the blue audio editor.
The issue with the 'Add Events' option has been corrected so it always reverts to the appropriate object type for which it was added to the title.
Regarding interchangeability of editors, FLV files are the only file type that is interchangeable between the two editors and that is because they have the same file extension. Note: You cannot open other video file types like MPG or WMV in the audio editor and you can't open .wav or mp3 files in video editor.
Bottom line:
In the new version, any FLV audio files should now automatically open in audio editor; any FLV video files should automatically open in video editor. You should enter events using whatever the appropriate editor is.
Hope this is helpful - was driving us crazy
Paul
