Animated Flash Character Sync Voice with Click on Bullet
October 3, 2013 12:00 AM
I have used one of the animated characters and want the user to click the down arrow to bring up the next bullet. There are 4 bullets. This part is working fine. I have 4 sound files (MP3) that I've added as Sound Paramaters (Sound 1, Sound 2, etc). How do I get them to play when the viewer clicks the down arrow? I think I'm missing an action or something. And if so - how do I do it?

The problem has been solved. But in case someone else has a problem with the CharacterSyncWithVoice figures, I will tell you what to do. I looked everywhere for an answer and could not find the answer. I got general information, but not details. To begin with - when you are adding the bullets, even if you only use 4 bullets, keep going through the process and ignore the other bullets if you don't need them. You will reach the point where you assign voice to the bullets. Again, if you had 4 bullets and need 4 voices - keep going through the unused parameters. When you're done, click Finish. It will work. I was over-complicating it and tried adding the voice parameters manually, but for some reason they didn't work.
I also wanted to have my character delay to wait for the voice that introduced the page to finish. So I added an Action under a lightbulb that I use for special notes to the student that when clicked, had a delay of 10 seconds, selected Flash Command, and then picked my character for the target, and the command is Play. Remember Flash plays. I was telling it to Show. So I actually had 2 problems. Both solved.
