AICC_Score can I submit to LMS without using process Test/Survey action?

Hi,
Is it possible to manually assign the variable AICC_Score a value and then have that value communicated to our LMS without using the Process Test/Survey action and without assigning a value to AICC_Lesson_Status?
I am trying to find a way to create Tests for two scenarios in Lectora v11.1 (8914) as follows: -
Scenario 1: LMS says Completion Status = “Successful” for pass and “Unsuccessful” for fail and scores communicated. This works fine using the Process Test/Survey action.
Scenario 2: LMS says Completion Status = “Successful” for pass and “Not Evaluated” for fail and scores communicated. Unfortunately I cannot get this to work fully. I’m finding that I have to mark the test manually and not use the Process Test/Survey action because as soon as I do I get “Unsuccessful” for the Completion status. Doing it manually I can get “Successful” and “100” by using an action to set the variable AICC_Lesson_Status to “Completed” and AICC_Score to the value of my customised variable for the test score. For fail, I am getting “Not Evaluated” but the score is not being communicated even though AICC_Score is being set to the value of my customised variable for the test score. The only difference between the pass scenario which works, and the fail scenario that doesn’t, is that on pass I assign a value “completed” to AICC_Lesson_Status and for a fail I don’t assign a value to AICC_Lesson_Status.
