Addition to Action System

While the current menu driven action system built into Inspire is good for simple interactions, more advanced uses require stringing many actions together to get a desired result. This could be quite time consuming and confusing even for a seasoned programmer.

a more robust direct coding alternative would provide speed and power for more advanced uses. I suggest that the ability to write actions using a 'BASIC' type syntax be made available in an expanding coding input box similar to how Inspire currently handles adding JavaScript to a "Run JavaScript" action. This could be used in lieu of the current menu driven action system when more complex logic or abilities, such as those requested by other users, is required.

Thanks for the suggestion, Darrel. We always appreciate the feedback. When you find the time, I'd love to see a mockup of how you'd envision this working and where it could be added in Lectora.

Hi, Laura. I will try to do what you request. If I do not respond right away it is because I'm swamped with other priorities.
