XML not loading in SWF when viewing Title, but works outside of Title

Any ideas on why an XML file is not loading into the SWF when viewing the Title, but it does work outside of the Title (e.g. when viewing the SWF directly)?

The swf appears in the Title when you click on a button (e.g. Menu > Glossary), but the XML does not load. We hard coded the XML file to load via actionscript in the FLA.

Now, the weirdest thing is when you view the SWF file directly, the XML file DOES load!

Perhaps we're doing something wrong in the Lectora Title, etc.? Again, the SWF is imported into the Title and appears on the click on a button.
