XML Export

Hello Trivantis Community,

I'm working with a client and attempting to use the XML Export feature however when the actual XML is exported, it contains added characters which makes it very difficult to accurately edit the XML data in my text editor.

Does this option truly work? Am I missing something ? I would like to use this feature because it could save many hours of development time for our team.

Thanks,

S.J.

I would like to open the XML file in my text editor and do a find and replace. However as previously described it's difficult when the exported XML has added code.

What type of special characters are you seeing? If you're able to send a sample file in to the Support team they should be able to help troubleshoot the issue with you. There's a Submit a support ticket on the right-hand side of the screen. As far as I'm aware there are no reported issues regarding XML export. In the mean time, I'll ask around to see if anyone has any suggestions.
