Why can't I see my custom theme?

The Welcome to Theme Setup window displays. I click Install, making sure everything is closed down beforehand. The installation is successful and my new custom theme appears in the folder, ProgramDataTrivantisLectora InspireThemes.

To be on the safe side I restart my computer.

And then I am stuck! The instructions ended as above and yet I cannot see my new theme in the list of themes on the design ribbon. Should it be there or should I be looking somewhere else in order to be able to use my theme? Was there another step I should have taken which was not included in the instructions?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes they should appear with the rest of the themes. I created two and they both appear in the themes list with the standard ones. The fact that the file is in the themes directory makes me think that it may be your index.xml. Make sure the syntax is correct and the file names are correct.

Thanks for this. I have gone back through the xml file as far as I can see everything is correct (it is not a very long bit of code!)

The only other suggestion I have heard is that the thumbnail should be a bmp file not a jpeg. I amended accordingly but still did not work.

If anyone has any other thoughts that would be great.

What version of Lectora are you running?
