V11 & v12 Compatibility Issue

Hi,
I have 2 versions of Lectora Inspire used within my team. One version is 11.3 and one is 12.1.1(9936). If I create a title using 11.3 and then try to edit it using 12.1.1(9936) save the edit and then try to open it using 11.3, any links, buttons or actions are stripped out. Is there any way to fix this as I need to work using both versions.

Unfortunately, you will lose objects in your v12/v16 saved title when it is opened in v11. This was because we upgraded the shapes and buttons in v12 to support all the new properties and new button state. When we bring in v11 titles into v12 or v16, we recognize the old version of these objects and convert them to the newer format. They will then be saved in v12/v16 in the newer format.
However, v11 does not know the newer button and shape objects. When it reads in a v12/v16 saved title, it will just ignore these unknown objects causing the objects and any actions attached to be lost. Actions attached to other objects or pages should be brought in OK.

Is it likely that there will be a patch or a fix for this? I have one massive file (close to 1000 pages, long story but it needs to be that size lol) and I really need to be able to edit it in both versions?
