unwanted Associated variable names reset

Nick, I have seen that and I guess there is a just right set of conditions that work but I haven't nailed them down. Here is what I do and it is just a bit more trouble but it works. Create your page with the question. Change the variable name to something like Question_9999. Set everything up to use it. Save as Lib obj. Then when you insert the page (I recommend having your library folder open and just dragging and dropping onto the Lectora page) all the code uses Question_9999. Now, here's the extra trouble. Open the question and change the variable name to Question_xxxx the next available one. The hard part is knowing what the next one is. I frequently use "local coding schemes" like if the chapter is Trouble Shooting then the questions are TS01, etc. When I get to the next chapter/test, I change the prefix.
