unwanted Associated variable names reset

I've created a number of different question screen types and saved them as library objects.Each of these question types has an "associated variable name" associated with it (e.g. Question_0007), plus I have added numerous actions that check this (e.g. Condition - Question_0007 is Correct).When I insert one of these library object pages into my course it updates the variable to the next available unused name (e.g. Question_0008) as I need it to. Sometimes it also increments the var name in the Condition (as I need it to) and sometimes it doesn't.It seems to be caused by something that happens when I save the page as a library object. By that I mean that I have saved a page, inserted it, and it works fine everytime I insert it, but if I saved it again, even without making any changes to it, the next time I insert it might be broken. Consequently I am very wary of making any updates to pages I've saved as library objects.Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening and what I can do to fix it?thanks, Nick
